ESPN Lets Us Know What Virginia Is

Today’s poll: “What is Virginia?”
According to Wikipedia, Virginia is – among other things:
- A suburb of Brisbane, Australia;
- A municipality of Brazil;
- A novel by Emily Glasgow;
- A genus of snakes;
- An ironclad Civil War Ship;
- An opera by Saverio Mercadante;
- A state;
Why ESPN did not include these options in this otherwise insightful poll is beyond me.
As a long-suffering alumnus, I’d have to go with… a genus of snakes?
